Swiss Airtainer Receives Approval from Delta Cargo for their Industry Leading Active RKN Container

Swiss Airtainer, provider of the lightest and most technologically advanced active RKN, is pleased to announce that Delta Cargo has recently approved the SAT RKN under their Specialized Pharma – Approved Containers product. Delta Cargo is the first US based passenger airline to approve the SAT RKN. The approval allows logistics partners of life science companies to transport the SAT RKN across Delta's global wide-body fleet within the Pharma Approved Station Network. The use of the SAT RKN, with its onboard control tower capabilities and industry leading technology and thermal performance,will enhance the product offerings provided by Delta Cargo Specialized Pharmaby catering to the needs of healthcare and pharmaceutical customers thatrequire strict temperature control of their products during transport.

The FAA and EASA approved SAT RKN is by far the lightest(390 KG compared to 635 KG and more) active temperature-controlled air cargo containerin the market. The advanced design of the container offers the superior performance required for successful shipments of high value payloads that fallwithin the combined temperature range of +2° C to +25° C while ensuringcontinual monitoring of shipments.
